Changi airport also cut cost

Last 2 weeks I take a walk at Changi airport, I found that there are less youngsters gathering over there. I go round the 3 airport terminals also same conditions. I also saw there was crowds in the MacDonald, youngsters with friends studying inside the fast-food restaurant.That why we did not see them around. It is good for the airport, as there are less people lying on the floor studying and playing computer.

Then I saw that all the power plug have been lock up to prevent miss-use of power in the airport. I think this is also a cost saving plan by the management.

At this time when economy is bad all company is doing whatever they can to save cost, including cut OT, power saving (eg. reduce light and air con usage...) and retrenchments.

I don't understand why they don't do it when the economy is good ???

Seniors Fair 2008

Seniors Fair 2008 held in last Saturday at HDB hub.

In my mind, how many seniors can really enjoys their life. I still can see a lot of those seniors selling tissue inside the intercahnge and some of the seniors collecting cartons and empty cans around the neighbourhoods...

Is our living standard and cost too high for them????

I think everybody have the responsible in Singapore total defence as there are many mental disorders(terrorists) around our living areas.

喝菊花茶不要加糖直接热水冲泡

空气干燥，不少人喜欢喝菊花茶并加上冰糖。但是有关专家提醒，不是人人都适合这种喝法的。

　　中医专家介绍，有过敏体质的人想喝菊花茶，应先喝一两朵试试，如果没问题可以再多喝，但也不应过量饮用。此外，由于菊花性凉，体虚、脾虚、胃寒者以及容易腹泻者不要喝。

　　一般情况下，菊花茶最适合头昏脑胀、目赤肿痛、嗓子疼、肝火旺以及血压高的人群喝。

　　喝菊花茶时，人们往往还喜欢加上几粒冰糖以增加口感。专家认为，菊花茶加冰糖是可以的，但是对于患有糖尿病或血糖偏高的人最好别加糖。此外，还有一些脾虚、胃虚的人也不宜加糖，因为过甜的茶会导致这类人口黏或口发酸、唾液多，感到不适。所以，不知道自己体质的人喝菊花茶还是别加冰糖为好。

　　菊花的种类很多，不懂门道的人会选择花朵白皙且大朵的菊花。其实又小又丑且颜色泛黄的菊花反而是上选。

　　那么，冲泡菊花茶有无讲究呢？专家建议，直接以热水冲泡即可。冲泡时加少许蜂蜜，口感会更好。不过味苦的野菊花最好不要饮用。

Coming back is so good - 回家真好

Seeing this video reminds me of my first overseas attachment. This was my first overseas support attchment and also my first time going overseas alone to Shanghai. That is really a good experience. It's was the 3rd month after my wedding and just 2 weeks before luner new year.

When I came back from Shanghai. The plane reaching changi airport, my heart a pumping very fast. I think coming back safely, the feeling is very good. When I saw my wife at the airport, she was a little bit thinner then the time I leave Singapore to Shanghai.

Then I saw this in a book
"If we can reduce our desires, there is nothing really worth getting upset about."

This inspire me, be contentment with what I have now.
All my loves one beside me healty and happy...What can I desires mores...

Rich & Poor .(富与贫)

last friday I went to chinatown I saw this 2 incidents;

Case 1. Rich...
I accidentaly heard 2 young girls talking to her parents that they have buy some gifts from the Hello Kitty shop nearby. They spend about $100 plus for the gifts. When the parents was paying for their dinner bill in the resturant, I think the bill is around $100 plus. Both young girls said to their parents "Very Cheap".

Case 2. Poor...

When I went to toilet I saw a old ladies(toilet cleaner) looking for something, I ask her what she is looking? She told me she drop 5cents, as she was about to go into the shop nearby to buy something to eat. I also try to help her to find this 5cents, but cannot find. At last she also give up.

This 2 incidents show me what is rich and poor, the rich spend money like water and the poor even a 5cents is important to them.

This 2 incidents also give me feeling that the
(Case 1) youngters today spend money that nothing, as they can get money easily from their parents and also too pampered.
(Case 2) because of living, even every cents also count. This is all hard earn money.

I feel bad for the old ladies. This is the actual living facts in Singapore, old folks working as cleaners and collecting drinks cans to sell. Living standard is too high that they cannot stop working.As I heard once a cleaner told me, once she open her eye she need to spend money.Everything also need money, don't work cannot survive.
